What lovely memories that song brings back...as a geeky eleven year old, listening to the Irish Rovers helped ease the pain of being an odd kid in a new town with no friends. Black Velvet Band happened to be on the flip side of The Unicorn. Totally hooked, I went out and bought the $4.98 album. It was a downhill slide into the murky waters of Irish pop/traditional from there, and I've not surfaced yet.
Hoping your St. Paddy's was fine and free from care.

Ah, that's right: Unicorn flipside. That's also where I first heard it.
Hope you and the family had a grand, fine St. Paddy's.
