Putin's been a scuzzwad for....his entire political life, if not longer. The TALK , back in the day, was that he helped Trump get elected. How that was even possible, God alone knows. How much sense it makes, to trash a country he wants back in the Russian 'nest' ; your guess is as good as mine.
When it comes to jumping on media bandwagons, I've long since given up. My legs (and nerves) would be in rougher shape than your legs, after your last run , if I attempted to play angels/ devils on social media sites, following the latest bruhaha.
It never made sense that Putin would help elect
Trump, but then not move on the Ukraine until
after Trump was gone.
You're wise to avoid the online squabbles, though Ryan
Long does make them fun.
Definitely. Ryan makes some of the most assinine scenarios at least worthy of a chuckle.
Likewise, I agree with Ryan on the issue of NOT throwing out the proverbial baby with the bathwater. (NOT hating all Russians because of the government they live under). I won't scorn ALL Russians because of Putin . Many Russians don't want Putin in government. Not sure if it's the right comparison, but it's kinda like ragging on ALL Muslims because of the terrorist attacks of 9/11.
My church has a ministry to Russia and my pastor's sister and her hubby have gone to Russia for a good....ten years or so. 2020-2021, they weren't able to go, but they have dear Russian friends who have been so kind to our church after our pastor's dad died. They even did a memorial.
Oh, for the good ol days of Gorbechev.
