I think I'd sooner take dating advice from HP Lovecraft . He was WEIRD but he wasn't a mass murderer ( unless you count his stories).
I'm HOPING the guys who put together that skit were taking the Mel Brooks tack (Damning him with feigned praise) as opposed to believing that monster was an okay Kraut .
Mentioning movies this skit was inspired by.... I was thinking Taxi Driver with Robert DeNiro.
Dark film that posits maybe Hitler wasn't so unique after all.
What made him scary were traits that we all have but don't give rein to.
Tragic but true! Whether the reason is hate or revenge or ARROGANCE or all those traits put together. Whatever. If it is given full rein, the end result can be either be tragic on a one-man reign of terror or a national level of atrocity such as what Putin, in his MEGALOMANIA is trying to pull off. 😢😡
