Is that poster real? WILD! I'd heard of something like that from The Simpson's but I didn't take it seriously.
Very real.
It's an old film from the early 70s, back when
the fear du juor was over population.
I looked it up. Wild. And Edward G. Robinson was in it!
I think I mentioned that the Soylent Green theme would show up on Simpson's episodes. Like one Halloween special where Lunch Lady Doris was using the kids in her recipes. Aye, Carrumba! π€¦♀️
oops! Forgot to mention the 70's issues. Back in ye old days, there was everything from Over population, energy crisis, Inflation. Race. Sadly, we're still dealing with the race issue.
The more I know about humanity, the more I want to raise a puppy and kitten. πΆπ± Less aggravation.
It was a popular theme for awhile.
Also it was Edward G's last film. He had been diagnosed with cancer
and didn't have long. The cast and crew were aware of his condition.
There's a CBS Radio Mystery Theater episode with Edward G. Robinson, that was a bit comical. If I can find it, I'll post it. He was actually pretty funny. I guess he'd played so many bad guys and gangster roles so often in the past that he wanted to do something light and fun.
He was also in the movie, "Double Indemnity" with Fred McMurray and Barbara Stanwyk where he played a good guy. Keyes.
FOUND IT!!!! A SUSPENSE episode called, "The Man who wanted to be Edward G Robinson." https://youtu.be/B2Uoeu8fTds Enjoy!
He was also a good guy in the Orsen Welles film, "The Stranger."
Oh. Okay. Maybe I'll check Youtube. They have a few classics. I'm a bit of a Joan Crawford fan and caught a couple of her flics.
FOUND IT!!!!! https://youtu.be/NV03z2YmD5k I have the day off so I'm going to watch while I sip on coffee. Enjoy!
Enjoy.
