A sub-par 18 mile run yesterday. I made rookie mistake in hydrating, energy, pace, you name it. I spent the day depressed. If certain issues with my running shoes aren't resolved, I'll need to push back my marathon. A mess, I tell you.

Seriously crappy day? I hate those. You wanna crawl into your bed and not leave. But you gotta. (or you'll get bed sores.) 😉 Even doing what you want to do, there will be crappy days. Just remember that you are doing something you WANT to do, put the mistake(s) down to "Stuff happens" and start fresh with the attitude of just enjoying what you like.
I'm having to rethink my training.
But that's good.
Don't reinforce what isn't working.
