This guy made me laugh. I'm sorry to see him go so soon. Below is a clip from a longer piece on how Norm would approach the job of being a serial killer.

I had a movie with Norm McDonald, Dave Chappel and Danny DeVito called Screwed. No, it wasn't a porn. To the best of my recollection it was about a house servant (Norm) who manages to one-up a crotchety woman he was working for because his dad told him that if he worked for this woman (played by Elaine Stritch ) he'd get ahead.
It was HILARIOUS! 😂
A year or so earlier, he had a small part in the film Man on the Moon. I THINK Scott Alexander and Larry Karazewski (who also wrote Man on the Moon ) wrote Screwed as a vehicle for those guys.
https://youtu.be/2f0kUZ7n-SI Just the trailer was nuts. Norm was good about that.
He had an interview once where he said the only thing he was really happy doing was stand-up. That was his passion.
Gone, but we'll always have YouTube.
WOW! He was brave! Stand-up is something of a tightrope walk. Stand or fall when it came to how the night went. But if something is a PASSION, you will pursue it, no matter what.
He was his own man.
