Heh, yeah, a friend of mine had a link to that on his Facebook status last night. Cracked me up.
It reminds me of:
"I wonder what happens if I press this button."
"I wouldn't!"
*press* "Oh!"
"What happened?"
"A sign lit up saying 'Please do not press this button again.' "
Buddy Hackett brought a plastic version of this same machine onto Johnny Carson's Tonight Show once in the early 1970's, and called it "an energy-saving device." The box got a big laugh, which somehow ticked off Carson.
