You caused me to go back through my archives and find my very first couple of posts to LiveJournal... For that I may never be able to forgive you.
At least back then you could've enjoyed a real he- man bout with Malaria without worrying over whether your hospital stay would be covered. Not to mention some lingering effects of the disease, which tend to show up way down the road when one is old and 'not productive to society' any more.
If you'd contracted the big M, say,in a few years- you would be issued a standard kit: a box of Kleenex, some expired Wal-Greens coupons [only from participating stores] and a cyanide capsule.
