Injury Depression Bloat
Fat suit. That's what I face this Saturday. I have a wedding to attend. I must wear a suit. But I have a big weight problem brought on by depression and overeating. (Starting in mid-August when my knee tanked.) For the last two weeks its been a lot of broccoli and salads. Off to the gym in a half-hour to sweat a bit. I feel like a wrestler trying to cut weight. Or a guy who sits around in sweat pants at a computer all day wondering where the pounds came from.

I had a similar problem the other day. I didn't know where the pounds went. My belt was too long. No, no, quite the opposite actualy.
But seriously John, you can do it. I mean, all you have to do is take your magic pill with a protein shake mixed with energy drinks. You'll lose that weight in no time. (that statement was probably satirical.)
Thanks, Luke.
I've just got to make it through Sat.
Then I can reduce at my leisure.
I'm not big on excersize unless there is some fun or social aspect attached to it that I like.
Sad to hear you're feeling down about everything :c
I've been a bit depressed too, probably due to the lack of social interaction and fun things as well. Lets race to the next belt size!
I only wish I felt so inclined to. It probably wouldn't hurt to, but then I couldn't watch TV, or read your blog, my life (just kidding).
Never fails, whenever I actually have free time, fatigue hits, and all I want to do is nap.
I'm glad you stop by, Luke.
Your absence would cut my regular readership in half.:-)
Which leads to the question..where did your readees go? You had atleast two others that would comment along with these interesting posts. Guess you can't compete with your fellow adversaries, or, adversary, as Paul Rugg hasn't uodated his blog in well over a month and a half. Good job John, you are slightly more comitted I suppose. I enjoy these posts John. They're part of my routine at this point. I love them.
Notice that Paul hardly ever updates, yet continues to grow in followers.
Fascinating.

Oh shi- It's like you know me. >_> Seriously Ive wrestled with depression and weight problems my whole life. I know where you're coming from. I know you can beat it though. Never stop plugging away at it! The struggle gives ones life meaning, not the goal! Or something like that...
Squirrley,
I'm thinking of burning all my sweat pants and only wearing regular trousers.
The pain of putting them on might spur me to exercise, which, in turn, might scare off depression.
I'll have to brood about it.
Good for you, John! But, if you threw away all your sweat pants, what would you excercise in?
Luke,
I've been pretty good about avoiding exercise lately.
But I do have sweat shorts should I change my mind.
