Speaking of writing deadlines (which I do often), over in the sidebar my sister is slogging away on a 30-day poetry challenge. That's one poem each day based on a simple prompt.

Sounds like fun! I'm no English major, so sometimes my poems are sub-par, but I still enjoy writing them.
You should submit your work for publication and see how that goes.

Thanks JP. I hope your readers stop by bleepbabyblog. It may help if you tell people I started writing poetry to mock poetry. So if I can write it, anyone can understand it. It's how I started doing stand up, mocking poets. So if everyone laughed I called it comedy and if they didn't quite get it I called it poetry.
