For some reason, your blogger posts aren't getting through. I haven't had an email from your site for a bit.
Without getting super-personal, I've heard it said that, with women, the semi-psychological aspect of a mastectomy causes anxiety over whether or not their husband/ boyfriend will 'see' them as desirable. At the Breast Health Clinic I went to, couples were offered post-op counselling to address those issues. I'm not even going to guess at how men deal with the physical aspect of male-related cancers.
Sometimes it's enough to know that you beat cancer. Other times, in more....intimate situations, you HOPE you completely conquered it.
