Flintridge Bookstore Promotes "Prostate" Memoir

 See? Look!

What fine, noble booksellers! Help a store keep their head above water. If you're afoot in the hills above LA, then stop in. Or visit their website. You may not choose to purchase my book, but do buy something and help stop Amazon from notching another bookstore on their belt.

That's downright decent of them! While I can't do any in-person shopping, if Flintridge delivers internationally they might just have a new customer.
Christmas, if you can believe it, is only three months away! Oh PLEASE, LORD, let 2021 get us back to the OLD NORMAL.

In one sense, though, 2020 has opened our eyes to the pleasantries of things we once saw as aggravations. (Jobs) . A favorite lunch spot FINALLY re-opened two weeks ago, after months of being closed. Not everyone is back at work, but it's a start.

I'm downright interested in things being opened again.

I've seen several small businesses go under that I patronized for years.

It's terrible.

But you're right: I'd take the Old Normal any day.

AMEN! The Old normal. I'm pretty sure that churches, synagogues and mosques alike will be full of people on December 31, PRAYING for the days we used to take for granted. I actually suggested that idea to my pastor, today.

As Churchill once said, "When you're going through Hell, keep going."

Ironically, while I'm not catholic, I prefer to think of this season as just a purgatory. Kinda like hell, but it won't last forever. So, we take it a day at a time and find positive things to do. Like tonight, I'm getting my story finished!!!

I need to work on edits, but it's taking me forever to get this done. Tonight will be IT. No matter how long it takes, I don't want to be dragging this story into another weekend. I HAVE to finish my editing so I can send the project to Lulu for publishing and get copies to friends in time for Christmas, or early New Year's.

You, (JP)

Joan
Charlotte
Tekla
Lisa and Sherri (my sisters)

So I shall write my way into another world. Farewell for now. 🙋
