I've listened to Raymond Chandler novels on Youtube. The stories are good, and the metaphors had me laughing. Maybe I'll give one of his stories a listen over the weekend.
Chandler always fascinated me: World War veteran, oil company executive, followed by a career writing hard-boiled detective tales that lingers on into today.
I listen with you in spirit.
